Cognitive skills and social competence within “ISG for Competence” project

“ISG for Competence” project is dedicated to conceptualizing and development of social competence related to personal and social development through creation of mobile 3D serious games. A set of 3D interactive simulations and mobile games regarding social competence and cognitive skills are created and are available in 6 languages (ENG, TR, BG, HU, SL, NL) in single player mode to allow users to experience a pre-authored social competencies scenario.

 

Below you can rear the description of some the games:

 

Sequence

  • Description: It enhances communication and social skills of the children by team building and negotiation. Team members need to put more effort in communication, problem solving, describing, active listening, understanding, negotiation, team building and etc.
  • Game structure: Understanding own picture frame
  • Distinctive features: Communicating with everyone to understand overall picture

 

Math Game

  • Description: Math game can be used to teach basic mathematical operations for children.
  • Game structure: Practice of basic numeracy
  • Distinctive features: Supported platform is Android, control mechanism and interactions are touch via screen

 

Cards Pairing Memory Game

  • Description: After a short memorizing time all cards roll back and the user has to find all pairs.
  • Game structure: Memorizing the position of pairs, pairing the cards
  • Distinctive features: Supported platform is Android, control mechanism and interactions are touch via screen
